Stylin Bruins get in the holiday spirit

The Boston Bruins got in the holiday spirit by way of some festive runway attire ahead of their tilt with the Anaheim Ducks on Thursday.
Bruce Cassidy’s squad showed up to TD Garden dressed to the nines and added their own unique touch to their suits. A few players went the subtle route with a simple tie or hat, while some players — in particular, David Pastrnak, Charlie McAvoy and Brad Marchand — clearly knew the cameras were on and took the holiday gesture as a challenge to out-do their fellow teammates.

Highlighting Boston’s pregame ensemble was Pastrnak’s ‘blue and white snowman’ look, because, well, what isn’t the 22-year-old Czech sniper good at. Quite simply, this outfit is lethal and should win an award somewhere, if they have that sort of thing.

“It’s simple. It’s blue and there is a snowman on it,” Pastrnak said following Boston’s 3-1 win over Anaheim.
Pastrnak not only walked the walk pregame but also on the ice, as the young star tallied a goal and two assists en route to a rather easy victory over a team that they hadn’t beaten since Oct. 31, 2013.
Given Thursday’s result, the Bruins might have to start wearing these suits more often.
