It won’t be long until David Pastrnak officially reports to Warrior Ice Arena with the rest of his teammates.
After weeks of negotiations, Pastrnak and the Bruins have reportedly come to terms on a new long-term contract. TSN’s Darren Dreger broke the news on Twitter moments ago and the deal is quite friendly for both Pastrnak and the Black and Gold.

The timetable on Pastrnak’s arrival is still unknown. The 21-year-old is fresh off a career year in 2016-17 where he tallied 34 goals and 36 assists in 75 games.
General manager Don Sweeney is scheduled to meet with the media on the first day of training camp. Keep it here on Bruins Daily for complete coverage.
Update: 10:33 a.m.
The Bruins issued a press release making the Pastrnak signing official. With Pastrnak’s AAV of $6.67 million, the Bruins have over $2.6 million of current cap space (via Cap Friendly).
According to Chris Johnston of Sportsnet, Pastrnak’s deal includes some no-trade implications in his final two years of the extension.
David Pastrnak received some no-trade protection from the #bruins in Years 5 and 6 of that extension.

With Pastrnak signed, it’s only a matter of time until he reports to camp. He’ll likely be joining the B’s this weekend after flying over from his native Czech Republic.
