Quick hits: Bruins and Lightning still knotted at one at two

    Second period:

Tonight is one of those nights Dougie Hamilton will want to forget. Tuukka Rask has had to come to the aid of Hamilton multiple times as Dougie has had some trouble in his own end.

The middle 20 was dominated by the Lightning as they out shot the Bruins 16-4. Had the Bolts not rang iron a few times, the Bruins could be looking at an uphill battle in the third.

    First period:

The first ten minutes of the game was as strange as it gets. From crazy bounces to Gregory Campbell and Daniel Paille going down the tunnel, to missed opportunities, it was a very interesting first half of the period.

The trio of Milan Lucic, Ryan Spooner and David Pastrnak continue to shine. Pastrnak got the Bruins on the board first as Spooner’s pass deflected off the skate of Pastrnak and past Lightning goalie Ben Bishop. The assist extended Spooner’s point streak to seven games and Pastrnak’s to three games.

The Bruins lead didn’t last long as Zdeno Chara’s turnover led to Steven Stamkos’ 37th goal of the season.

Very rough period for Campbell. After taking a stick to the face in the games’ opening minute, he went hard into the boards–gingerly skating off the ice in the period’s final minute:

    First period stats:

-Team high three shots on goal for Patrice Bergeron in 6:41 of ice time.

-Bruins have three giveaways to Tampa Bay’s none.

-One shot and one goal for Steven Stamkos
