Watch: Loui Eriksson’s highlight reel goal vs. Sens

All the Loui Eriksson trade rumors were put to rest after the trade deadline. A week later, he silenced his critics, at least temporarily, with a beautiful goal against the Ottawa Senators.
During the second period of Tuesday’s Bruins-Senators contest (on a 4-on-4 situation), Eriksson turned Sens defenseman Codi Ceci inside out one handing the puck past him en route to Craig Anderson. He patiently waited until Anderson committed then slid the puck past the diving Ottawa goalie to give the Bruins a 2-0 lead with his 17th of the season.
Here’s a look at Loui Eriksson’s highlight reel goal that should make its way on the Top 10 packages on ESPN’s Sportscenter, TSN’s SportsCenter and NHL Tonight:
The Bruins defeated the Senators 3-1 on Tuesday night and pull seven points ahead of Ottawa for the final wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. It was the B’s first win over their Atlantic Division foes in the 2014-15 season.
The two teams will face each other on March 19th, a week from Thursday, at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa.
