NHL 15: Four Bruins crack the top 50

Continuing their look at player ratings, EA Sports revealed their top 50 players for their upcoming release of NHL 15 on Saturday. Four members of the Boston Bruins, including cover athlete Patrice Bergeron, reigning Vezina winner Tuukka Rask, Norris Trophy finalist Zdeno Chara and David Krejci, made the list.
Both Rask and Chara were revealed as top five players among goalies and defensemen, respectively. Krejci and Bergeron were both listed in the top 15 among centers.
With a 92 overall rating, Rask comes in as the highest rated Bruin and is rated as the 13th best player in the game. Both Chara and Bergeron earned 91 overall and come in at 20th and 21st, respectively, while Krejci’s 89 is good for 37th.
Reigning Hart Trophy winner Sidney Crosby is the top rated player at 96, while Steven Stamkos, Jonathan Toews, Alexander Ovechkin and Shea Weber round out the top five; each with a 93 rating.
Other notable rankings include Henrik Lundqvist – the games top goaltender – at seventh (93), Carey Price at 11th (92), Evgeni Malkin (12th, 92), Duncan Keith (14th, 92), PK Subban (28th, 90) and Patrick Kane (34th, 89).

Some of the key features for NHL 15 version include true hockey physics, authentic next generation player models, a new commentary team featuring Doc Emerick, Eddie Olzcyk and Ray Ferraro, authentic NHL arenas and living crowds.
NHL 15 is available for pre-order at major retail store websites and is scheduled for a September 9th release on the Playstation 4, XBox One, XBox 360 and Playstation 3 gaming consoles.
