Today on Bruins Daily
Chris Chirichiello reveals his latest player of the week. I have a feeling he’ll be going a different route on this.
In case you missed it
We here at Bruins Daily have a couple of events planned. On Tuesday, we’ll be at The Greatest Bar to host a watch party as Tyler Seguin makes his return to the TD Garden as a member of the Dallas Stars. And of course, we’ll end the week with a bang at the third annual Frosted Fall Benefit for the Boston Bruins Foundation at the Cask ‘N Flagon.
Register here for the watch party and you can skip the line and get free pizza Tuesday night at The Greatest Bar.
Click here to purchase Frosted Fall tickets that includes special appearances by Rene Rancourt, Lyndon Byers, Bob Sweeney, the Boston Bruins Ice Girls and Dirty Water TV.
And of course, be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for all the latest news surrounding the watch party and the Frosted Fall.

Brent Burns Chewbacca gets his picture with the Stanley Cup. No word on whether or not the wookiee will be taking Lord Stanley to his home planet of Kashyyyk:

Stat of the day
37 – The percentage of faceoffs that Seguin has won in his first year in Dallas. This includes Sunday’s 1-for-14 performance from the dot against the Ottawa Senators.
There’s a reason why Claude Julien kept Seguin at wing during his three years with the B’s. And there’s a reason why Stars coach Lindy Ruff is telling the former second overall pick to “get mad.”
For something completely different…
“The Simpsons” give Marcia Wallace (the voice of Mrs. Krabappel) the proper sendoff in Sunday’s episode.
