The Bruins entered the period down 1-0 after a sloppy first period that saw them out-shoot the Albany Devils 12-6, but a power play goal by Chris Bourque, his first of the year, tied things up 1-1, and that’s how the period ended. Carter Camper and Craig Cunningham notched the assists on the Bruins goal

It was a much better period for the Bruins, and an exciting period in all. Both teams picked up the physical play and that sure will be expected in the third.
