Bruins Daily player of the week: Jan 16-22

The Black and Gold had a unusual five-game week that saw them go 3-2 in the span. The Bruins started the week with a shootout win in Florida, and ended it with a shootout win in Philadelphia. In between the shootout wins we saw a win against the Devils, and losses to the Lightning and Rangers.
A few Bruins had very good weeks for the Black and Gold, but one Bruin once again stood tall over all his teammates.
After just missing out on the honors last week, Patrice Bergeron is this week’s Bruins Daily Bruins poker of the week. This is Bergeron’s second player of the week honors in three weeks.
Bergeron single handedly led the Bruins to victory last Monday in Florida when he scored twice in regulation and netted the game winning shootout goal.
Bergeron went on to add an assist and another goal during the week. Bergeron continues his usual way as a guy who chips in consistently on the score sheet, but it’s his overall game that has Bergeron as one of the National Hockey League’s most underrated players.
