Bruins Daily Bruins player of the week: 11/7-11/13

For the second straight week the Bruins were perfect in each game they suited up for. The Bruins finished off the week with a very impressive 6-2 win Saturday night over the Buffalo Sabres. Prior to Saturday’s win, the Bruins started the week off with a 6-2 win over the Islanders on Monday, and followed it up with a 6-3 win over the Islanders on Thursday.
Two weeks of perfect hockey have given the Bruins a season-high five-game-win-streak heading into tomorrow’s matchup with the Devils.
With a 3-0 week it’s obvious that many Bruins had good a week for the black and gold. For me it came down to two players for this week’s Bruins Daily Bruins player of the week honors. I was going to choose Nathan Horton as this week’s winner, but then the NHL released their three stars of the week honors, and my hand was forced to change my decision.
So for the third time this season, Tyler Seguin (NHL’s first star of the week) is yet again this week’s Bruin’s Daily Bruins player of the week.
Seguin scored in all three games this week, including two in Saturday’s win. Seguin also added two assists during the week.
The nineteen year old Seguin leads the Bruins in goals, and points. Seguin also leads the NHL in plus/minus and sits fourth overall in total scoring among all NHL players.
Previous winners:

10/31-11/6: Tyler Seguin (2)
