(Photo: Bridget Samuels/) Tim Thomas leads the Bruins out in warmups as he prepares for his fifth start of the season

BOSTON – As expected, Tim Thomas gets the nod for the Bruins tonight between the pipes. Thomas is 2-2 with a 1.98 goals against average and a .932 save percentage on the season and has not played since the Bruins 3-2 shootout win last Saturday in Chicago. Thomas will go up against Jonas Gustavsson who is making his first start of the season for the Maple Leafs.

Defensemen Matt Bartkowski was assigned to Providence this afternoon. Fellow defensemen Adam McQuaid did not skate this morning during Bruins morning skate indicating Steven Kampfer is set to return from his injury that he suffered in the preseason.
