For the second straight period the Bruins top line has been buzzing. If the Bruins are to score tonight its going to be them, because the other three lines have been M.I.A.

The Canes strike first in the second on the powerplay. Pitkanen gets the goal, Kaberle gets an assist in his first game against his former team.

Another Bruins power play, another poor effort, somethings got to give here.

For the second straight game the Bruins have made the opposing goalie look like the second coming of Patrick Roy. Ward has played very good tonight keeping the Bruins off the board.

I was going to sit here and talk about the lack of a power play and how badly it hurts the Bruins, but we are all sick of beating that drum.
