Game Details:
Tampa Bay Lightning @ Boston Bruins.
TV: NESN Radio: 98.5 The Sports Hub
2010-11 Season Series: Bruins 3-1 (Bruins defeated the Lightning 4-3 in the Eastern Conference Finals)
2011-12 Season Series: Tied 0-0
What to watch for Bruins:
Despite scoring just once in six tries last game, the Bruins power play had many prime chances, look to see that again tonight with forwards Brad Marchand, and Tyler Seguin creating some magic again.
After a solid first 15 minutes Thursday against the Flyers, the Bruins got slugglish and couldn’t find their game till later in the third. Expect a hungry Bruins team tonight.
After sitting out Thursday’s loss to the Flyers due to an illness, Adam Mcquaid is inserted back into the Bruins lineup.
What to watch for Lightning:
Tampa Bay’s power play is as good as they come. The power play is led by snipers Martin St. Louis, and Steven Stamkos. It’s key for the Bruins to stay out of the penalty box.
Tampa Bay kickd their season off last night with a 5-1 win in Carolina, with the late arrival into Boston, Tampa could come out slow, something the Bruins will look to capitalize on.
Mathieu Garon makes his first start of the season tonight as Dwayne Roloson got the start and picked up the win in last nights contest.
