End of 20: Bruins 2, Lightning 0
Share
- David Krejci popped his third goal of the season—his first since Oct. 30.—to put the Bruins on the board first. No. 46 is also tearing it up on the face-off draws, winning 4-of-5 (80%)
- Dennis Seidenberg scored the B’s second goal with just 0:20 left in the first frame on one of the more unusual scenarios you’ll see. Seidenberg flicked the puck from center ice and in the net as Lightning netminder Mike Smith was drifting from his crease, as if he was anticipating a wrap-around dump-in from No. 44. Seidenberg also leads the team with four of the Bruins’ nine shots on goal thus far.
- Nice ovation for the return of Marc Savard tonight of the TD Garden’s HDX. Savvy finished the first period with 4:52 of ice time and going 3-for-4 (75%) on the face-off dot.
