In an action-packed game last night, the Boston Bruins fell short to the St. Louis Blues 2-1 in a shootout at the TD Garden. The battle in Boston saw 69 shots on goal, 62 hits, and a couple of fights, as the Bruins have now dropped their last two consecutive contests.
Tuukka Rask remains winless (0-3-1) between the pipes for the B’s, but still holds a respectable .921 save-percentage on the season. Boston holds down the fifth spot in the Eastern Conference with a 7-3-1 record, and share 15 overall points in the standings with four other teams.
