In front of a jam-packed TD Garden last night, the Boston Bruins convincingly won their 2010-11 NHL season-opener against the Washington Capitals, 4-1.

- Boston registered 34 shots throughout the 60 minute contest last night — Milan Lucic, Gregory Campbell, Shawn Thornton, and Dennis Seidenberg led the way with four hits each
- Campbell led the B’s in face-offs wins, taking 10-of-17 on the dot
