Fantasy: 10 Boston Bruins

With a brand new NHL season less than a month away, training camps, preseason games and, yep, you guessed it, Fantasy Games, are right around the corner.
Drafting your fantasy team is probably a week or two away, and what better bragging rights are out there than to draft a stud team to take you all the way to the Fantasy mountaintop?
I’ve compiled a list of 10 Boston Bruins’ players and their fantasy impact for this upcoming season. Depending on your scoring format, some of these guys are must-haves.
C, Marc Savard: Last season was the first real disappointing season of Savard’s Bruins career. The 33-year-old was limited to just half the season, while sitting on the shelf with a foot and knee injury, as well as a Grade 2 concussion sustained in March.
But with a new, healthy season, Savard is the best fantasy option in Black and Gold: he’s better than a point-per-game average in The Hub; has the play-making ability to net 70-plus assists; and has a shot that can net northwards of 25 goals. And he’s forecast to have newcomer Nathan Horton to his right, so this could be the season Savvy pockets 100.
*If healthy, Savvy’s a nice No. 1 center on any team with his better than point-per-game average.
