Savard: “We don’t need this stuff in our game anymore”

Nearly two-weeks have passed since Matt Cooke laid-out Bruins’ No. 1 center, Marc Savard, with a blindside hit to the head, resulting in a Grade 2 concussion.
Today, No. 91 spoke-up and addressed the media.
“We’re not sitting in the most comfortable spot” said Savard in response when asked how his teammates responded. “At the end of the day obviously you’d like to get teams back and people back. We want to make the playoffs
“There’s times to do things and I’m sure if we had a comfortable lead like we did last year, there would have been a different situation. [Thornton] got him back pretty goo d so though”At the end of the day down the line there will be other times we play each other. the moment I really don’t feel like talking to him (Cooke)”
