The Bruins battle the Maple Leafs tonight at the Air Canada Centre in their fifth of six meetings on the season. Boston is 3-1-0 against Toronto over that span, and look to get back to their winning-ways, coming off a disappointing loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday afternoon.
Tonight, however, they’ll have to do it without their No. 1 blue-liner, Zdeno Chara. the injury doesn’t appear to be serious as the reigning Norris Trophy winner could be back sooner than later.
“He suffered a lower body injury there last game keep him out tonight so hes going to be day-to-day” said head coach Claude Julien. “so hopefully we’ll get him back for next game.”
