After an optional skate in Buffalo last night, Julien had this to say of the reigning Vezina Trophy winner, Tim Thomas.
“He’s a team guy” Julien said of Thomas. “It’s not about going after any individual it’s about doing the best thing for the team. If the goaltender right now [Rask] is playing well, then, so be it. Everybody knows he’s [Thomas] a good goaltender. He’s proven it over and over again. Right now I don’t think his game is where it was when he was at his best, and we’re trying to get him there…it’s a team effort.”
Coach Julien is also optimistic on David Krejci playing tonight.
Steve Montador at forward?
Kennedy scratched?
LOL
glad to see u did your homework
I first posted this late last night, and I got my info from the Sabres’ last game. And yes, Kennedy was a healthy scratch then. No? I had updated it via The SabresEdge.com, after their morning skate but it was apparently after you had commented. So yes, I did do my homework. Twice. Thanks for the comments!
