David Krejci, Boston’s No. 1 center by injury default, will be out of the lineup tonight against the San Jose Sharks. Veteran Trent Whitfield will replace the hurt Krecji at center tonight.

No word just yet on the severity of this situation, but the timing couldn’t be any worse. The Bruins are now without their top-3 centers for tonight’s contest against the top team in the NHL.

Also, defenseman Dennis Wideman will be a game time decision tonight. The Bruins recalled Andy Wozinewski today from AHL Providence on an emergency basis if indeed Wideman is out.
